Welcome to the Abbeville Fire Department's home page. Our Department is under our City's Government (City Manager/Council form). We employ 4 full time firefighters including the chief. We also rely on our Volunteer members, consisting of a Chief, Asst. Chief, Captain, Lieutenant and Firefighters who are all paid-on-call. Our volunteer members are all Interior Structural Firefighters and trained in advance fire certifications by the South Carolina Fire Academy. We have two certified adjunct instructors in the department who maintain our training.
